This paper is about three celebrations two growths and one question that we have for our Sophomore POL
The thing that I am most proud of and want to celebrate the most out of the three that I get would be that I am certified, lifeguard. The reason that this is at the top of my list of things I want to celebrate is that it has the most meaning and value to me. It first means I can save a life, I have been trained to have the capability to if needed save someone in the event of drowning or choking or if someone is not breathing or doesn’t have a pulse. This has immense value and meaning to me because you only get one life and that's it and if in an emergency and someone needs help keeping that one life I can help and possibly be the thing between them and death, but that's not the only reason this is important to me. Second, it means I have a job, and this is important to me because I don’t have to rely on my parents to need money for gas or anything else I can start paying for my own things with money I earn my self.
My second thing that I want to celebrate would be my plane that I and my group made in intro into engineering this semester. I feel that this would be a celebration because we have worked so hard on it, and all the different piece that goes into it like placing the electronics in setting up the ailerons and making the wings and fuselage, and tail. All parts that took time and teamwork, and in the beginning we weren't that great as a group. We would bicker and fight about things on the plane. Some of us would not work while the others would (most often that was me). But more towards the middle of the project we started to work together better and cooperate
My third celebration would have to be getting my drivers license. My reasoning being that now that I have my license and a car I am responsible for anything and everything I do on the road. It means that I have reached a level of maturity that I didn’t have before this, and now I have to have it because if I am just messing around on a road and not paying attention someone could get very hurt or I could even hurt myself. So I have had to grow up and become more mature and responsible.
One area of growth I have is my focus in class. I have a very hard time focusing during almost any class I have in a day it has been an issue that I have been dealing with for most of my life. All of it comes down to my executive function which is a mental condition where I have a lot of trouble organizing myself to get tasks done. I have been trying different things over the years to help me focus like listening to music or planing with a fidget toy fidget spinner all sorts of things but they only help so much until they just don’t work like they used to. My most recent attempt to work on focusing is getting ADD medicine for me to see if I need that. Now i haven't received it yet but hopefully after break I can start using it in school to help me focus.
My second growth I have is my writing skills. Writing has always been hard for me because I am dyslexic and dysgraphic which make things very changeling for me when it comes to writing anything down such as these paragraphs that I am typing right now. But over the years and in this year as well I would believe that I am starting to get a little bit better at writing whether it be a starter in Ally’s class or a POW in Dan’s class. My comprehension of what words sound good together and what ideas fit into place well for an easy have grown but still can grow more as you can always learn something new. But I believe that I am finally getting better.
Question: What is the meaning of the world
